It was nice only because we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered our drinks my friend told the I guess waitress what he wanted I wasn't ready yet so she said she'll get our drinks when she brought the drinks I told her what I wanted. About 8 minutes later she brings out my friends breakfast which wasn't cool because I waited 12 minutes for my food. I ate a few bites of my food because my friend was getting antsy so we asked for 2 to go boxes . Just to wait 10 just to have to ask her for the boxes again. We waited about 10 more minutes to have to flag her down for the check which she didn't have. So another 15 minutes go by & my friend is now full on irritated asks her for the bill. I couldn't believe this woman I've never been to restaurant where the so called waitress rounded off the meals & drinks. Don't even know if she threw in tax but I didn't care wanted to get the heck out of there. No I wouldn't recommend this place to eat. 1) the customer service is horrible 2) food wasn't worth the wait I ended up getting sick to my stomach for the rest of the day & the next. Only enjoyable thing was our drinks the Jamaica was actually really good. Thumbs up on the drinks but everything else forget it!
The food was hot fresh healthy tasting and amazing. Prices are not bad and hospitality is amazing I didn't even order a drink and she gave me a water.
Not a true restaurant, mostly a bar, hamburgers, wings from the "restaurant " not what I wanted
Came here expecting a nice flavorful burrito, but sadly left extremely disappointed. I hate giving one-star reviews but the service was just so terrible here that I feel the one star is much more representative of our experience. We waited around twenty-four minutes for our entrees, but this was difficult to fathom as the restaurant had two other people in it that were almost done with their meals. I ordered their super carne asada burrito that was priced at $10.45. When it arrived it was dainty in size, and probably had about a tablespoon of asada thrown into a swamp of dripping refried beans. We also ordered their flauta plate which had a strong burnt aftertaste due to being overcooked by about twenty-four minutes. When paying for our bill, our server asked us if we enjoyed our food. I candidly expressed that they missed the mark. She shrugged her shoulders and said sorry with a tone and a facial expression that could care less. As expected, this was my first and last visit to Meli's.
Pleasant surprise. Simple and tasty mexican fare.
