My former boss sold her real estate company in 2016 and retired to Dallas, Texas with her new husband. She periodically does reunion breakfasts with her former staff and local friends in the Santa Cruz she loves so much. It was a group of about 20 people that the restaurant staff managed with exemplary service and speed. The Crow's Nest is ideal for this with its beautiful Yacht Harbor location, easy parking, and long time fine reputation as an iconic beach front restaurant. We all had a wonderful visit together and love the food and service.
Came in around 2:30pm on a Friday and were sat immediately. The outdoor patio is super cute with ocean/ pier view. We ordered: * fried calamari appetizer -- crunchy lightly battered, tender calamari, fried to perfection. Best calamari I've ever had.. thanks Crow's Nest!! * bowl of clam chowder * grilled Angus steak * grilled yellowtail All that and our bill was under $130 (tips and 1 glass of wine included!) Will definitely visit again when we're in Santa Cruz, just because of the calamari 🤤
Probably the best view from the deck! It has two floors and each floor has a different menu…. The Calamari was so fresh and clam chowder was super delicious! They host live shows too. Definitely a good place to eat and spend time.
Great food and service! I had the sea bass and it was well presented and super tasty. The waiter we had was really friendly and attentive. The views of the Harbour were great where we sat and from what I could see the other customers were all enjoying.m themselves. Definitely a place to check out if you like seafood and good atmosphere.
8.27.22 - My husband and I enjoyed our experience at Crow's Nest Restaurant. We were in Santa Cruz celebrating our Anniversary. The restaurant was full so we sat upstairs. Our waitress, Olivia was awesome! There was a super fun band! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back next time we are in Santa Cruz. 🙌🏾
